James has more than 15 years of experience in leadership roles in the digital media industry. Prior to joining the leadership team at Index Exchange he was the CEO of Datacratic, a machine-learning and AI software start up. James has previously served as a consultant to large media companies including Yellow Pages Group, Rogers Digital Media and The Globe and Mail, where he worked with senior executives to establish competitive strategies leveraging the opportunities emerging from a shift to real-time, data-driven advertising. James is a successful angel investor and serves as an advisor to several leading digital media and e-commerce start ups.
